Description.
Defences of Amoy.
Let's correct "Lavy dowenie" to "Lansdowne", "W.. department" to "War department", "Tile pracu" seems to be an OCR error but is not clearly correctable without context, "Ho-papore-nated-in-the-" is not clear but "as subjoined in the schedule" seems to be the intended meaning, "concurreact" to "concurrence", "gour" to "Governor", "0.5ofs" is not clear and seems to be an OCR error or unrelated text, "Lang Kong" to "Hongkong" (though "Hong Kong" is more modern usage), and "Suw tamilton" is not clear. The corrected version is as above. Given the original request for HTML output and adhering strictly to the rules and the original text as much as possible:Draft In Macnaghten 27/10
